Dear Kibble Forum / Deep Purple,

I am currently working on a retrospective of California-based 60s/70s rock legends The Doors. Having split their discography in to 3 chronological sub-groups (see below), I find myself on the horns of a dilemma the significance of which I'm sure will not escape you.

Early Doors:
The Doors (1967)
Strange Days (1967)
Waiting for the Sun (1968)
The Soft Parade (1969)

?:
Morrison Hotel (1970)
L.A. Woman (1971)
Other Voices (1971)
Full Circle (1972)

Late Doors:
An American Prayer (1978)

Any advice or suggestions gratefully received.

Yours utterly pointlessly,

Rupes

Also, it doesn't matter because The Doors were mostly massively overrated shite.

It's hard to fault The End however - who doesn't like a bit of Oedipan incest in their pop?

Can Rupert and Dave please have a conversation? I will never get tired of their avatars. Thanks.

According to people, the Doors are better than Deep Purple.

People are, however, wrong.

They're cetainly not better at giving Kibble-related advice. Though it is hard to know that for sure - who knows what unearthly powers Jim Morrison could have called on to accurately predict a half-time score between Greece and Germany?

I don't know about Euro 2012 but if you play Riders on the Storm backwards it gives a complete set of predictions for the 2014 World Cup.

But don't tell anyone. It's how I'm planning on winning the next kibble.

Still? Rupert sent them a high-priority e-mail about their mis-selling of so-called 'mid doors' in 2010. Someone should probably report them to trading standards.

It's now very late doors for the England team, but still early doors for the competition as a whole.

Does that make it mid-doors?

No, because there is no such thing as mid-doors.
