I've just found this thread from 2006:

http://www.kibble-me-up.co.uk/forums/vi ... .php?t=107

We're 5 games in - which is a third of the group stage gone - and as a group we're doing significantly worse than last time round (though some individuals have made an improvement...)

For the sake of posterity, here's what the league looks like right now:

Code:
POS   PLAYER               SCORE    GD
1     Clements, Mark       7        8
2     Marks, David         7        11
=3    Boley, Alistair      5        12
=3    Gillingham, James    5        12
5     Sowton, Christian    4        10
6     Gillingham, Lisa     3        8
=7    Bourgois, Marie      3        10
=7    Cole, Douglas        3        10
=7    Cribbin, Sharon      3        10
=7    Fitzsimons, Joseph   3        10
11    Waring, Rupert       3        15
12    Dyer, Kristopher     2        7
=13   Dad, Mrs.            2        11
=13   Edwards, Thomas      2        11
15    Gordon, Lorenzo      2        12
16    Williams, Emma       2        13
17    Armit, Jamie         1        10
18    Cole, Lou            1        11
19    Myddelton, Jo        1        14
20    Jim, Little          1        17

So assuming that, within the "early doors" period, it's currently early doors, it will at some point become late early doors. Will we then transition straight from late early doors to early late doors?

If you are trying to trick someone into admitting that there's actually such a thing as mid-doors, then it won't work, because THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS MID-DOORS!

I think discussion on "doors" is this forums peculiar version of the law that says any forum discussion will eventually mention the Nazis.

Nazi Doors.

You are, of course, referring to Godwin's law: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law

The doors-based variant on this is, as far as I can recall, known as Oddbins Law.
