Everyone seems to be complaining about the official World Cup match ball on the grounds that it 'keeps moving'.

Um... isn't that because everyone keeps kicking it?

They always complain about the match ball.

I reckon one year they should use one of the old-style balls from the twenties that were made of lead. That'll give them something to complain about!

I like the way the refs take them off the plinth at the start of each game. You don't see enough plinths nowadays.

Don't worry Fitz. Some day your plinth will come.

(I thank you)

Without coming over a bit statto I find it hilarious that each world cup they change the ball to get more goals and yet the trend has been completely in the opposite direction - certainly over the opening round of games.

They always claim to have made it the "roundest ball yet". Maybe one year they will acheive the perfect sphere and the ball, from that point, can get "none more round".

I suggest that, from that point, they try to make the squarest possible goals (or rectangularest I suppose).
