i think David Beckham will be England's star performer.

The star of turning in French? My only role seems to be to either mention or produce grammatical errors.

Yes, the star of turning, in French. I'm being pretty bold by going for someone not French.

I agree about Beckham.

Also, Paul Robinson - I think he'll do very well indeed.

I'd love to see Harold Bishop lift the world cup.*

i would love it, LOVE it, if that happened.

Can anyone name Paul Robinson's (AKA Stefan Dennis) greatest hit when he tried to be a 'Mini-Hasselhodd' in the late 80s? And for a bonus point what was he wearing.

Of course when I said "Mini-Hasslehodd" I meant precisely that, not "Mini-Hasslehoff." For those of you who don't remember, the Mini-Hasslehodd was an exemplary brick carrying invention of around the same time period.

Yes - I remember it. Tired of making the handyman's life easier, Black & Decker branched out with their short-lived 'Hassle" range, which consisted of tools that did the standard job in a much more awkward and unwieldy way.

The "HassleHammer" was my favourite. It had a spring in the middle of the handle.
