Dear Kibblers,

I have finally deciphered Alan's cramped scrawl and managed to figure out how enable the group tables. Turns out I simply needed to press the big red button labelled 'groups'. I don't think I'll ever get the hang of these computer things!

Looking back at previous competitions I notice that my dear Alan gave each of the groups humorous names.

Alas, I don't have such a refined sense of humour. The best I could come up with was "A group of kippers". (Which, now that I see it written down, doesn't make sense anyway.)

Therefore, I'm holding a mini-competition to suggest names for the four Kibble groups. You can see who's in them via the 'group tables' link to the left, and you can see past examples on the old Kibble sites, which are on the 'links' page.

Post your suggestions here, and Gladys and I will judge the winners. Make sure you include the group that the name should apply to.

Closing date - kick-off on Friday.

Yours, with pride at having invented her own competition just like Alan,

- Mrs. K

My suggestions:

Group 1: "Group 3"
Group 2: "Group 1"
Group 3: "Group 4"
Group 4: "Group 2"

Group 3 should be called "deja vu".

Once again I have the chance to be beaten by Sowton and Armit.

Which is of course a deepy erotic thought.

Group 1 could be "The Post-Nuclear Family", with Mr. and Mrs. Marks and their wayward child Rupert, plus Grandpa Joe and Grandma Josephine (who probably just stay in bed all the time, like in Willy Wonka - not sexing!).

Not sexing??

That is the story of my bitter and disappointing life. First sniff of fictional sexing in years and my hopes are immediately dashed.

I think Group 1 is wide-open. I certainly am.
